Chelsea FC wins UEFA champions league

Chelsea stunned Bayern Munich, Saturday night, to win thethe Champions League for the first time after a penalty shoot-out in the Allianz Arena after a tension-soaked final had ended 1-1 after extra time. Drogba who had scored the equalising goal also scored the winning penalty kick.

Following Chelsea’s victory tonight, Tottenham FC, who came fourth in the Premier League will play in the Europa league next season as Chelsea takes Englands fourth slot.

Chelsea have ended this season on the high winning both the FA cup and the Champions League.

Gary Cahill may the the happiest man on the pitch. The club he played for as at December 2011, have been relegated from the Premiership. Now, he is a Champions league winner.
