JTF kills 4 Boko Haram suspects in Kano

The Joint Task Force (JTF) says it has killed four suspected members of the Boko Haram sect in Kano.

The Spokesperson of the team, Lt. Ikedichi Iweha, said on Sunday in Kano that the sect members were killed during an operation at `Hotoron Gabas’ quarters.
Mr. Iweha said that many  members of the sect members were also arrested but declined to disclose their number, citing security reasons. He said that the team embarked on the operation at noon, and cordoned off the area to restrict the movement of people. He said the task force had carried out a similar operation last Sunday and made many arrests.
