Exclusive: Letter Fashola wrote President Jonathan requesting removal of soldiers from Lagos

Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos

Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola, actually wrote to President Goodluck Jonathan requesting the withdrawal of Soldiiers from the streets of Lagos, a Premium Times investigation has shown.

The emergence of the letter has contradicted claims by the Defence Headquarters that it was the governor who requested and funded the deployment of the soldiers in his state.
