Reports from Gombe say gunmen, believed to be members of the extremist Boko Haram sect, attacked the Deeper Life Bible Church in the Nassarawa area of the town.
Details of the incident are sketchy but the church’s Pastor says three people were killed, while ten were injured.
The attack came three days after Boko Haram reportedly issued an ultimatum to Christians to leave the Northern part of Nigeria.
No one has claimed responsibilty for the attack and no arrests have been made so far.
