Eyewitnesses say 12 people are dead in the blast that rocked Kaduna this morning. An unspecified number of people are also being treated in hospitals around the metropolis for various degrees of injuries.

The Kaduna Police Commissioner,  Ballah Nasarawa, however denies that it was a bomb, saying that items from within a shop in the vicity caused the explosion, but eyewitnesses insist that two men on a motorcycle threw a bomb into the shop and fled.
