Buhari speaks on London vacation, says more London medical trips ahead

President Buhari arriving from London Friday

President Muhammadu Buhari has released the following statement, explaining his London medical vacation, and indicating that he would make more travels to the British capital for further medical checks in the weeks ahead.

Read full statement below.

“I am deeply grateful to all Nigerians – Muslims and Christians alike who have prayed and are continuing to pray for my good health. This is a testimony that in spite of the hardship being experienced, Nigerians support the Government in its effort to tackle our country’s challenges.

“The best way for me to repay you all is to re-dedicate myself to serving you, protecting your interests and keeping your trust. I thank you very much.

“I am feeling much better now, there may, however, be need to have further follow-ups within some weeks. Rather than sending delegation upon delegation to Abuja to welcome me, may I appeal to all Nigerians to continue to pray for our country’s unity, progress and prosperity.

“I thank you very much and may God bless our Country!”

“Rather than sending delegation upon delegation to Abuja to welcome me, may I appeal to all Nigerians to continue to pray for our country’s unity, progress and prosperity” I hope the sycophantic elders and political jobbers will hear

lolz, you know what’s coming. I hope the President will send them the message to stay home, take care of their families, people of their states and stay home. Don’t waste their states resources coming to Abuja.

Imagine the alacrity with which he reminds 190 million Nigerians that our hospitals are too filthy for him to receive treatment, and so will jet out back to London. Imagine the crude effrontery with which he mocks 190 million Nigerians! A people whose tax earnings the dumb must now spend on medical tourism. So dumb and clueless is Buhari that he does not even consider bringing at least just one hospital in Nigeria to standard. So he goes to London for just medical laboratory tests. So when will our hospitals be standard? It has no other name, it is called Mumudity.

I was just wondering loud. How many millions US dollars did this so called medical vacation cost the Nigerian tax payers. We can use such millions to build a world class hospital here in Nigeria. Shame to our presidency.
