    Ribadu is afraid of Buhari. Though he was EFCC pioneer Chairman, he had studied the handicraft of former Governors corruption, he also wants to arrive before train leaves the station, but Buhari will spoil it for him if he becomes Governor and Buhari, the president. WE ALL BELIEVE CHANGE COME 28-03-15. YES WE CAN IN NIGERIA. ALI MUST GO. YES JONATHAN MUST GO.

    I have a dream that Ribadu would be the president of Nigeria come 2019

    • Olawale Badmus Bright

      Keep dreaming

  • Moe

    “make the sacrifice.”??? Rufai thinks Adamawa People have not sacrificed enough?
    All through 16 years of PDP rule what has Adamawa gained apart from the building of a ‘private’ American University by Atiku?
    He is a smart man. That is why he did not make this speech until now that he has consolidated his gains. Otherwise…well..
    let him just be quiet for now.
    With all the lives and property Adamawa people have lost, he is asking for sacrifice!
    Mallam Rufai, ka yi shuru da bakin ka!

  • Great Nigeria

    Ribadu! I pray you become governor, I also pray you become the first governor to be jailed for corruption while in office by Buhari’s EFCC.

    • Abiodun

      Story. Jailing people is what Buhari wants to offer Nigeria abi? we need more roads not prisons, more food and not chasing people around.

      • Gwazy

        all these can be done while still jailing ppl. We even need more brand new jails

        • Abiodun

          do you build dog huts and want to get contract from Buhari?

    A Fulani (Ribadu) ‘against’ his another brother Fulani (Buhari} and also distant in-laws!
    I think this is the highest example of politics without bitterness, even more so if we consider the fact that the former is a die-hard supporter of the PDP Presidential candidate and the President: Northern intellectuals and political activist should use this phenomenon to the defense of northerners against the unjustified insinuation (by other sections of the country) that northerners are ‘conservatives’ and lacking in modern democratic culture.

    • Kufere

      Thank you my brother, may Allah bless your path.

  • you sef na aboki, so tell them make dem hear, confam talk

  • chinwe davis

    of course they should, they’ve even benefited more than the south south, they would vote for him basically,

  • well, you are not far from the truth, buhari has nothing to offer basically, he was even shook by the debate, so he’s barely fit to run a poultry not to talk of the country.

  • Onike24

    Is there something in our air or water that makes people lose their conscience?

  • emmanuel

    yes oh PGEJ have done well for the north

  • uduak akpan

  • uzo

  • kingsley obi

    The why will be known later, but for now GEJ remains our choice.

  • faith adams

    with our harts and spirit we will VOTE JONATHAN

  • Henry Shiwe

    – The GEJ Administration has:
    1) Not added a dime to the external reserves despite earning far higher revenues than any Nigerian president in history;
    2) Depleted external reserves to about $29bn;
    3) Escalated external debt;
    4) Slowed down growth in the economy, now expected to grow below 6% for 2015;
    5) Pushed unemployment now over 23%;
    6) Caused poverty incidence to hover above 71%;
    7) Overseen domestic debt ballooning to N7.65trn from N4.55tn in 2010;
    8.) Depleted the excess crude account to less than $1bn
    9) The worst exchange rate in the history of this country;
    10) Presided over 500% jump in payment of petrol subsidies to over N1.4trn ($8.9bn) in 2011 and 2012 respectively from just under N261bn ($1.6bn) in 2006.
    We had been promised steady Power with a plan as GEJ campaigned in 2011. In 2015, he says we should try to understand why power has not gone above 4500MW in four years. The “private sector” that won bids are not even able to provide needed funds to turn the critical sector around which then begs the question, how were they picked in the first place? Considering the depth of financing needed to make the sector work, I am surprised the government did not invite foreign investors to take ownership in a few of the Discos/Transcos/Gencos and allow competition and efficiency (ala MTN & MTel) to kill off, buy or merge with the inefficient investors. I doubt we will get a better deal in Power if GEJ is given another 4 years as the first set of investors have now invested in his next 4 years and will certain dictate the tune.

    Vote for a better Nigeria, Vote APC.

    #Sai Buhari
    #Sai Osinbajo

    • John John

      You are talking nonesrnnse.the president will be re-elected today

  • Maria

    You have sunk with PDP…

  • Moe

    Malllam Ribadu,
    You have given your opponents (most especially future opponents) a powerful weapon against yourself.
    It will be next to impossible to overcome your talk about how the North must
    vote for Jonathan. Good luck (no puns intended)

  • Moe

    This speech is the unfortunate event where you Mallam Ribadu; dealt a blow (likely fatal) to your political ambitions.
    I will guarantee you that 80% of people who saw this article did not wait to hear your speech.They read the title and you immediately lost their vote and confidence.
    The absurdity in the title is offending enough to put most off your candidacy.

    “MUST” is a word that any right thinking person would do well to delete from their vocabulary talk less of an educated politician who’s fortunes depend on his/her ability to convince people to see things from a given perspective.

    The word ‘MUST’ upon launch, immediately sets up an adversarial relationship between the listener and the speaker, and for you (Mallam Ribadu) to allow the use of such a rigid and unflattering word in the title of your speech is nothing short of flabbergasting.

    I cautioned you to be quiet about your support for GEJ. There are ways you can support whomever you want without tying your own faith to their political fortune. Perhaps you miscalculated, or maybe you were ill-advised, but for a man of your stature, who could have easily competed for the office of the president and WON under the right circumstances, to loose by such margins as you did is painful even to me as I write.

    It is not over politically for you….no! not by a long short. It is however on you now to find ways to lift your name out of the self -dug gutter in which it now lies. Why would you do this to yourself? I have a feeling you do not know how many people you let down.
    Best of luck to you in your future endeavors. It is not the end of the world and like a phoenix, you may very well rise again, but only if you return to your basics…the very same basics that made you the person lots of us would have loved to see as President.

    P.S. If you read my previous post, you will notice that I was not overly concerned about Adamawa state Governorship, I was more worried about the damage you are causing should you choose to run for President in the future. Obviously, I was clueless about the depth of the self inflicted wound.
