If we had kept quiet in the SS- we would not have gotten NNDC-or Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs-Not to talk of the presidency–yes these are status symbols including the presidency of jonathan-its the tripod that is shaping affairs of the nation–yes-so stop blaming jonathan for yr 54 yrs old cancer–no matter-what or how long it will take us–one day we will be gone-from Nigeria–its better to be free in poverty than to remain slaves under our oil wealth-

          • Wähala

            I didn’t say you’re slaves, I said custodians… big difference!

Niger deltans: if it’s world news that is not concerning Nigeria and you’re ask to comment on it,you people must definitely link it to oil. I wonder if that’s is the only region having oil in the whole world. You people have made news comments boring. If fowl fly anywhere in Nigeria is because of the oil your grand parents planted

      • TRUTH MASTER

Deri, you are seriously out of order and your jejune interventions sway no one but you and your ilk. No one is a parasite here in Nigeria. What we have is a symbiotic relationship…..assuming you know the meaning of the word!

the bastardizing of Nigeria by the mindless Fulani North ATI THEIR SURROGATES, who hate the South South like hell, will continue until they secede. Aware d Fulanis would never want them to go their separate ways-but secede they will one day. Monumental injustice to the people of the South south will continue unnabted as parasites from the oil-less zones of the country get appointed into lucrative top post in NNPC.: 20 Owners Of Richest Oil Blocks In Nigeria Without the people of Niger Delta on whose soil the oil was found. All between Hausa, IBO and few Yoruba rogues at large.

      (1) This oil block business is so lucrative that Danjuma’s Sapetro divested of its investment in Akpo condensate for $1billion dollars. This business is second to none in Nigeria. That is why any attempt to investigate the activities in this sector will always be futile and they will alaways worked towards the sack of the oil Minister- The MONEY from the South south-is so much that they give bribes in millions of dollars to remove any who acts as a thirn in their flesh. A birthday gift or child naming gift from an oil block owner to a government official could be as much as $2million dollars, and if the official’s father dies, the condolence gift could reach $3 million dollars. When they want to bribe legislators, it is in millions of dollars and any ongoing investigation ends within weeks. They are so confident that with excess money they can buy up Nigeria and they are succeeding-even with boko haram and APC hangers-on

      (2) OML 110 with HIGH YIELD OBE oil fields was given to Cavendish Petroleum owned by Alhaji Mai Deribe, the Borno Patriarch in 1996 by Sanni Abacha. OBE oil field has estimated over 500 million barrels of oil. In layman’s language and using average benchmark of $100 dollars per barrel, translates to $50 billion dollars worth of oil reserve. When you remove the taxes, royalties and sundry duties worth about 60% of the reserve payable over time, you get about $20billion dollars worth of oil in the hands of a family.

Mr. President, please stop beating about the bush. Sack Diezani now and let her go and explain herself to the EFCC. Anything short of that is a mere tokenism!

  • Demola Daniel

Nobody takes Mr. Goodluck Jonathan seriously on matters of appointment. He is seen as a joke. Having built his reputation on indecision, he now wants to be seen as having woken up, but it is too late, because the jury is in that he is administratively incompetent for having taken seven months to remove a corrupt Minister of Aviation (Stella Oduah) and taken another six months to replace her, totalling 13 months, which is more than 25% of Jonathan’s current term in office.

  • Etukudoh

Wetin these abokis dey find for inside my oil? How come? How manage? ….Jona, na wetin dey happen?

  • Screw-em

Soiled “Leadership” gone awry!!…Dumbo Johnny cuts at the periphery of NNPC with a jagged scissors edge, by installing “new” hands dripping with corruption, with the center controlled by the inept 2.3GPA slutty “Architect” Diezani. A known moron devoid of any administrative skills that should be in Jail by now, and wonder why Ghana “roars” at our far left, beating her chest as the new “”champs in West Africa by halting all flights from 9ja owing to ebola while Cameroon to our immediate right, swiftly rescues her citizens leaving our drunks for soldiers looking like boys scouts. Wonder why nobody takes 9ja seriously anymore. This depraved, degenerate buffoon GEJ-the ebola virus of 9ja- has 165 more agonizing days to go and l can’t wait to see him flogged out of Aso Rock.
