PDP youth say APC, Tinubu instigating violence in Osun, Ekiti

The APC chieftain had warned that the APC will not condone any attempt by the ruling party to rig elections.

The Peoples’ Democratic Party Youth Frontier, PDPYF, on Monday said that the All Progressives Congress, APC, and a former governor of Lagos State, Bola Tinubu, should be held responsible if there is anarchy after the forthcoming elections in Osun and Ekiti States.

The National Coordinator of PDPYF, Austin Usman, said that the “careless utterances from leaders of the opposition party, APC are ‘unbecoming”.

Mr. Usman commended the President Goodluck Jonathan administration for conducting what he described as a credible 2011 election.
He also called on the youth in the two states to vote for the candidate of their choice without fear.

“Tinubu can’t intimidate the good people of Ekiti and Osun state not to choose the candidate of their choice, (it) is undemocratic and against the tenet of electoral act.

“We have court that whoever think cheated or unjust can approach,” Mr. Usman said.

The former governor and National leader of the APC had threatened extrajudicial actions against PDP if it rigs the elections in Ekiti and Osun states.
Mr. Tinubu had warned that the APC will not condone any attempt by the ruling party to rig elections.

“We are prepared not to go to court but to drive you (PDP) out. We will not take it anymore. If you mess up in Ekiti and Osun states, you will see our reactions. For every action, there must be a reaction,” Mr. Tinubu had said.
