One of the delegates to the ongoing National Conference representing the Association of Retired Police Officers of Nigeria, ARPON, Hamma Misau, is dead.
Mr. Misau, 67, reportedly died of an undisclosed ailment.
An official of the confab who declined to be named because he was not authorised to announce the death confirmed the passage of the retired police officer to PREMIUM TIMES.
The official stated that Mr. Misau, a retired assistant inspector-general of police, died Thursday evening at the National Hospital Abuja.
Also a senior delegate from the north, confirmed that Mr. Misau died. He could not however confirm if he has been buried.
Mr. Misau died a few days after his photograph was circulated on social media suggesting that he took a nap during plenary at the conference.
