Kaduna State, which is popularly referred to as the centre of learning and the hub of old Northern Nigeria administration, has welcoming and interesting places to visit especially on special occasions like Valentine’s Day. Here are a few:
Kofar Gamji Amusement Park
Kofar Gamji Amusement Park was the first amusement park built in the heart of the Kaduna City. Located along the Shooting Range New Extension, it is indeed the most visited place during celebrations such as Valentine’s Day.
It has wide lawns for relaxation, eateries, a swimming pool, and a terrace for couples who chose to stroll hand in hand. The scenic view of the Kaduna River, which cuts across the park, is a pleasure to behold.
Kofar Gamji is also host to CD World Play Club, where comedians, dancers and other performers entertain guests.
Murtala Mohammed Square/Polo Club
Murtala Mohammed Square, which hosts the Polo Club, is located along Alkali Road in the city centre.
Although the Square was originally created for state gathering, polo, track and field activities and indoor sports, it had gradually become a centre not only for recreation but also for relaxation.
It has a giant swimming pool and drinks and food are served at the club arena.
Couples, friends and even families enjoy the sporting activities often scheduled there during holidays.
Trapco Amusement Park
Trapco Amusement Park is located along the Kaduna Airport Road, Mando Express way, Kaduna.
Polo trainings and games take place there. It has a mini zoo with monkeys, baby lions, ostrich etc; car and quad bike racing tracks, eateries and a court for leisurely walks.
It is indeed a lovely place where couples can enjoy Valentine’s Day.
The Saminaka Resort
Although not located within the state capital, it is the biggest resort in the state.
Located in Saminaka, Lere Local Government Area, two hours away from the capital, couples can stay at the resort and enjoy horse rides, the swimming pool and visit the mini zoo. It also has an events hall.
Enjoy a lovely Valentine’s Day in Kaduna.
