Woman had a teargas canister in a disco
A young woman in a disco in the Bavarian town of Wuerzburg injured herself and two other persons by mistaking a chemical self-defence agent for deodorant, police reported on Tuesday.
The 20-year-old woman was freshening up overnight when she reached in her handbag for her deodorant and inadvertently sprayed tear gas into her underarms.
She and two bystanders were treated by rescue personnel for severe eye irritation, while the dance club was forced to shut down for a short period.
Police are investigating the young woman for causing bodily injury caused by negligence.
