PDP is “Pharaoh-like organisation” God has rejected, Tinubu says

Former Lagos governor, Bola Tinubu

He said APC formation is in fulfillment of Awolowo’s prediction

A leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, has described Nigeria’s ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, as a ‘Pharaoh-like organization,’ from which God has liberated Nigerians. Mr. Tinubu said the current implosion in the PDP was as a result of the arrow of confusion God threw into the ruling party.

Pharaoh was the title of the King of Egypt, who, according to the Bible, refused to allow the Israelites go to the Land of Canaan promised by God.

Mr. Tinubu, who spoke at the weekend through an aide, Idowu Ajanaku, at a ceremony to unveil the APC logo in the United States, said God had finally decided to liberate Nigerians from the ruling party with the formation of the APC.

The PDP has been entangled in crises leading to the defection of some of its notable members to the APC. Five of its governors and many members in the National and some state Houses of Assembly decamped to the APC in the last three months.

“The implosion currently going on in the PDP is also as a result of the arrow of confusion thrown into it by God for this monstrous, gigantic, visionless and directionless octopus cannot be allowed by God to continue to lead the people to utter destruction,” Mr. Tinubu said.

“In fact, God has decided to liberate the Nigerian people from the hands of this Pharaoh-like organization, hardened in impunity and corruption by afflicting them with the loss of every capacity to listen to the voice of reason or repentance.

“APC is not just a party but a mass movement where people of different ethnic groups, language, class, religion are welcome without any form of discrimination. It is the Peoples’ Party; it is the voice of God.”

Mr. Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State, said the formation of the APC was both divine and human, to rescue Nigeria from total collapse.

He said the collapse of the country was imminent due to the alleged ineptitude displayed in governance by the PDP in the last 15 years, which he said had taken a toll on Nigeria and Nigerians without leaving out any sector.

APC was registered as a political party by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, last July following the successful merger talks between the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, All Nigeria Peoples Party, ANPP, Congress for Progressives Change, CPC, and a section of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA.

According to the former governor, the way and manner Nigerians were embracing the opposition party and responding to its clarion call to save the country were an indication that its formation was divine.

He said the formation of the APC was ‘a fulfillment of the prediction of the late sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, a globally accepted icon of progressive leadership in Africa, in one of his books, ‘The Hero,’ that ‘the best of the conservative and the best of the progressive will one day rule Nigeria.’

“The APC has come to fulfill this prediction and will surely give Nigeria the much desired new lease of life.”

On the claim by some opponents of the APC that it had no ideology, Mr. Tinubu explained that its ideology was to provide massive infrastructure, employment of the youth, restructuring of the nation, electricity and power generation and supply, which the PDP has failed to do.

He called on Nigerians in the Diaspora to join their kith and kin in the country to save Nigeria and to look forward to the party forming the government at the federal level in 2015.

A senator, representing the Ondo North Senatorial District, Ajayi Boroffice, who was the guest of honour at the event, saluted the courage of Mr. Tinubu and other chieftains of the APC including Bisi Akande, Muhamadu Buhari and Ogbonnaya Onu for sinking their differences to float the party.

Mr. Boroffice, who defected to the APC from the Labour Party, LP, two years ago, extolled the leaders for sacrificing personal gains in order to banish poverty, impunity and lawlessness in Nigeria.

He described them as “great men with great minds for this great season.”

He described the PDP as “a party without vision” and that as long as the party kept ruling Nigeria, the country would not move forward.

Mr. Boriffice, in his 15-page address cited example from the proposed 2014 federal budget, where he said N1.2 billion was budgeted for the extension of VIP clinic in Aso Rock whereas only N750m was budgeted for the teaching hospitals of the Universities of Ibadan, Ilorin and Sokoto.

“The money budgeted for the Niger Delta militants is far more than the money budgeted for the Army, Air Force, Navy and Police put together. It shows that this government does not have the welfare of the people at heart,” he added.

Stating that he agreed with Mr. Tinubu that the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, had become the personal ATM of President Jonathan to siphon money from Nigeria, the senator noted that the money siphoned from the country so far was more than the national budget for three years and it was over $300 billion.

The Chairman of the APC in the US, Tony Isama, thanked the leadership for the formation of the party and advised its leadership back home against the mistake of the PDP.

He asked the party to focus more on the people and on how to develop the country.

How I Made 15,000 In a Day – Godwins C. Nduka, PH City.

How I Made 15,000 In a Day as an Idle Man (I didn’t work for the Money).

I travelled to Port Harcourt last week Thursday and on Friday I noticed that Amaechi/APC are giving N3,000 to those registering with APC. As a sharp guy, I went to Alode Primary school, Eleme and registered with the name; Johnson Osaro (3K given). I hurriedly went to Comprehensive Secondary school, Ogale and registered with another name: Sunday Obari, another N3000.

I was very happy. So as I was crossing the road and I noticed that there was a registration centre at Nchia market Eleme, I went their and registered with the name; James Wike. I was with my secondary school old friend so we decided to go to Onne to continue our registration. As we arrived at Onne, close to trailer pack, we saw APC registration centre so we decided to go register, I registered with the name; Godson Mba.

“APC is like a newly opened church of Satan with the evil as a Pastor which could not be distinguished by Nigerians from a true living Godly Church and hence could be mistaken for a real Church, even when it was made of thieves (Legitimate Pen Robbers), that is why they ganged up against Local Government fiscal Autonomy using crumbs from stolen accumulated wealth to bribe their thievery colleagues at Federal and State house of Assembly.” Tunde Bakare said
“It is very clear that 5 Governors of APC in the west is far richer than their state and they have looted every penny from their state purse. People should be careful of this Rogues,” he added. Source

      B-R-E-A-K-I-N-G News!!!
Bola Tinubu’s Daughter, Iyaloja Locks Up Iponri Market: Order Traders To Bring APC Registration Slips To Her Office.

It is a shame that the All Progressive Congress (APC) membership registration now is now compulsory for residents of some APC control states, especially, Lagos.

The Iyaloja of Lagos and Daughter of the APC, Bola Tinubu has looked up Iponri market over the traders refusal to comply with to the APC compulsory registration for Traders doing business in Lagos.

An APC apologist, Mr Ekundayo Awe who was angered on this development wrote this morning that, “Honestly this is depressing. When will Nigerians get liberated from the demi-gods we have all over the place?”

Mr Awe was responding to the experience of Mrs Funke Tega Phillips, a Lagos trader cut-up my the draconian directive of Lagos APC government on traders.

Mrs Funke Philips narrated that, “I have a shop at Iponri Market in Lagos. On Saturday the Iyaloja General (Tinubu’s daughter) came with a legion of RRS policemen to lock the market up.
Our crime was that she invited the Market Committee Association for a meeting with her and they refused to attend so she locked up the market to show us who is boss. Anyway, a lot of us went to her residence yesterday in Alausa to plead with her to open the market, she told us to return on Thursday and said we MUST all bring our APC registration slips when coming.

“Now, I registered on the second day the registration started. Not because I was forced but because I chose to. I resent the fact that she made it seem like it was compulsory.
“How does party registration translate to votes I keep asking? Abi, is it not closed ballot we do in Nigeria again? The whole thing annoyed me to no end…”
This is a Progressive decision and the Change they Promised Nigerian in 2015
