The Air Force Chief toured North eastern states.
The Nigerian Air Force on Thursday expressed satisfaction with the performance of its officers deployed for the operation against insurgents in the North-East.
The Commanding Officer in Charge of Tactical Command of the force, Adeshola Amusu, told journalists in Yola that the officers were doing a good job.
Mr. Amusu, an Air Vice Marshal, who was touring the zone to assess the troops, said he was satisfied with the commitment of the officers after the visit to Maiduguri and Yola.
He said the force was working in synergy with the 7 Division, Nigerian Army to dislodge the insurgents. He commended the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Alex Badeh, for his efforts in equipping the force to execute the war.
The commanding officer also lauded the support and cooperation of the civil populace, particularly the civilian JTF, for their role in the fight against the insurgents.
