FRSC to enforce deadline on use of number plates from October 1

The enforcement would begin nationwide on October 1.

The Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, Kano State Command, on Friday reminded vehicle owners that it would enforce the deadline on the old number plates and driver’s licence from October 1.

The Public Relations Officer of the command, Kabiru Daura, said the agency had written reminders to government ministries and agencies on the issue and many of them had responded positively.

The agency advised vehicle owners to change their number plates to the new one to avoid embarrassment.

Mr. Daura said the enforcement would begin nationwide on October 1.

    Do we have to pay?

Why are we paying . It should be given out free because we did not ask for the change. Can you do this in the uk or US . The alternative is to allow the old plate to be in use until the vehicles are old. This is not good . Where are the human right group pls fight for our right to leave ,this imposition and milking the poor is too much
