He has also been expelled from the Communist Party.
China has sacked the Deputy Head of the National Development and Reform Commission, Liu Tienan, over bribery allegations.
Mr. Tienan has been removed from public office and expelled from the ruling Communist Party, where he was a top member.
Xinhua News reports that the accused was sacked because he “accepted huge amount of bribes.”
The bribery allegations against Mr. Tienan were first made by a journalist in December last year on social media site, Webo.
