The Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Benin Branch, on Monday, called for the unconditional release of Bode Rhodes-Vivour and her daughter by their abductors.
This is contained in a press statement signed by Oriane Akere, the State Chairman of the NBA in Benin.
Mr. Akere urged the relevant security agencies to immediately secure the release of the victims.
He also urged the state government to beef up security in the state with a view to safeguarding the lives of people and property across the state.
The victims were kidnapped alongside their driver at Ekiadolor in Edo while on a trip to Delta State to prepare for the daughter’s wedding.
Mrs. Rhodes-Vivour, a lawyer, is the wife of a Supreme Court Justice.
