The couple were arrested on Thursday.
The Special Anti-Fraud Unit of the Nigeria Police has granted administrative bail to the former Oyo State Commissioner for Trade, Investment and Cooperative, Kazeem Adedeji; and his banker wife, Biodun.
The duo, who were arrested at the premises of Enterprise Bank, Bodija, Ibadan Branch on Thursday, were released this on Friday morning.
Though they were said to have been arrested over alleged fraud, the former commissioner’s associates alleged he was being politically victimised.
The police are yet to state the reason for their arrest.
The couple were on their way to Ibadan from Lagos as at the time of this report.
