FRSC warns against night journeys

The Corps advised road users to avoid over-speeding.

The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, has warned road users against night journeys and over speeding during and after the Easter period.

The Osun State Sector Commander of the FRSC, Imoh Etuk, who supervised Ondo state’s Easter patrol, said on Friday in Akure that the exercise would ensure free flow of traffic.

The corps, he said, would during the period, check over loading, over speeding and reduce accidents.

He urged road users to avoid drunk driving and ensure that their vehicles were properly checked before setting out for a journey.

“It is only living that can celebrate,” he said.

The commander appealed to parents not to allow their under-age children to drive.
