The spokesperson for Roman Abramovich has denied that the Russian billionaire has been detained in the United States.
Mr. Abramovich’s spokesperson, John Mann, told Reuters that although the billionaire was in the U.S., he was not detained.
“He is in the U.S. but he has not been arrested or detained,” Mr. Mann told Reuters.
A Russian Newspaper, RBC, had reported that Mr. Abramovich, owner of Chelsea Football Club of England, was detained by the FBI.
