Akande, Ribadu, Tinubu, visit victims of Kano suicide attack

Former Lagos governor, Bola Tinubu

The party leaders accompanied the Kano State Governor.

Leaders of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, visited victims of Monday’s suicide attack that killed 22 people in Kano.

The National Chairman of the ACN, Bisi Akande; the party’s presidential candidate in the 2011 election, Nuhu Ribadu; and former governor of Lagos State, Bola Tinubu visited the victims.

The ACN leaders joined the Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, and other dignitaries for the visit.

Twenty-two persons died in the attack while 20 others were still receiving medical treatment at the Armed Forces Specialist Hospital Kano.

Twenty-two injured persons were initially admitted at the hospital; but two of them died.

The attack has been condemned by Nigerians, while no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

    Eye service

    • bademasi

We need more people who will use their eyes very well like those who will dare to visit people who need our empathy-people who will be nationalistic enough to put their lives at risk and visit people who need our emotional, moral and material support. Some people have eyes, and they do not use their eyes. Some people have eyes and they use them very well. Thanks again ACN/Ribadu/Tinubu and other patriotic Nigerians for having good eyes and using them very well. Hope those who do not have eyes and who do not use their eyes very well will at least emulate a nationalistic, patriotic and moral use of eyes. We are with you on this. Thanks agaiin

playing politics with blood, only God will judge

    • Moses Adekunle

May God judge everyone -those who show empathy by visiting the victims and survivors of an immoral and barbaric carnage such as this, and those who are unsympathetic, who stand aside, who say “oh it is your problem, kill yourselves” who stand aloof by not visiting. May God in his infinite mercies judge everyone according to what he/she does and what he /she does not do but which he/she knows that he/she should do.

Tinubu’s visit to Kano cannot hoodwink anybody. He did not condemn the act, he only went on a circus show and it ends there
