Some hotel operators in Lagos have promised free food and drinks for guests on Valentine’s Day, February 14.
Some of the operators said on Tuesday that there were other packages for guests during the Valentine’s Day.
Ayodeji Jimoh, the Public Relations Officer, De Next Hotel, Akoka, said that the management had planned free Valentine enjoyment for its customers.
“Lots of drinks and small chops will be given to guests on the Valentine’s Day for them to have a feel of love that the period would bring,” he said.
Rilwan Aleshinloye, the Managing Director, Alesh Hotel International, Ajah, said that a lot of souvenirs would be distributed to guests on Valentine’s Day.
“The management would also organise a free show for guests to make them comfortable during the period,” he said.
Tunji Adebogun, the General Manager, Gran Melia Hotel, Lekki, said that the management had redesigned and upgraded the hotel to suit its guests during the Valentine period and after.
He said a `Valentine’s Eve’ would also be held for the guests.
“Valentine is a period of love, where everybody needs to share love with his or her family, neighbours and friends,’’ he said.
Raphael Ineh, the Proprietor, Quality Hotel, LASU-Iba Road, said the idea to offer special packages to guests was to show appreciation for their patronage.
“We are planning big for this year’s Valentine’s Day and we are sure this will make the celebration historic for many of our guests and the intending ones,’’ he said
