A former foreign affairs minister and presidential aspirant, Ike Nwachukwu, has condemned the rush by Nigerian politicians to accumulate wealth.
Mr. Nwachukwu, a retired Army General, stated this on Tuesday at a colloquium with the theme “Managing Nigeria’s Image: Whose Responsibility?” held at the Agip Recital Hall, Muson Centre, Lagos.
“The present desire of accumulation of wealth at all costs by Nigerian politicians, in particular, is worrisome, and the situation constitutes a threat to Nigeria’s image,” the politician said.
