Prince Williams and Kate Middleton are expecting a child.
After months of rumours and speculation, the Royal House of Britain has finally confirmed that Prince William and wife Kate are expecting their first child.
The announcement was made at around 5:30 p.m., Monday evening via the British Monarchy’s official Facebook page.
The spokesman said their Royal Highnesses are very pleased pleased with Kate’s pregnancy.
“The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry and members of both families are delighted with the news,” the statement said.
The American media had been rife with pregnancy rumours for months. People the world over, not necessarily connected to the Royal House, had been pushing for the couple to have a child.
The kid will be next in line to Prince Williams in ascension to the throne.
The Duchess was admitted this afternoon to King Edward VII Hospital in Central London. She is expected to stay in hospital for several days and will require a period of rest thereafter.
Doctors say her morning sickness would be ‘easy’ to treat.
