Nigerians have ‘wrong perception’ of PDP because of ‘global meltdown’- Metuh

Olisa Metuh, PDP National Publicity Secretary.

This is the second part of the interview with the PDP spokesperson

The spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Olisa Metuh, has said that the anger Nigerians have for the ruling party is caused by the “global economic meltdown.”

Mr. Metuh said this “wrong perception” of the PDP by majority of Nigerians is not unique to the country; as many people are unhappy with their governments, and Nigeria, not being an Island in the global community, must also be affected.

“Because of the global financial down turn, things have not gone well all over the world and Nigeria is not immune to international financial crises.

“It is happening all over the world, people are not happy with their governments, but it has nothing to do with their leadership, and it has nothing to do with the PDP here,” Mr. Metuh said, in the second part of PREMIUM TIMES exclusive interview with him.
