VIDEO: All church leaders buying jets must go to prison, then hell, says Tunde Bakare

Pastor Tunde Bakare is convener of Save Nigeria Group

At the second annual lecture of the Save Nigeria Group in Lagos, on Monday, Pastor Tunde Bakare took a swipe at church leaders taking advantage of their congregations, and buying private jets.

He said they all deserved to be imprisoned and then thrown into the hottest part of hell.

He said Nigeria will never experience change except it starts from the church. “Ask them where they are getting the money they are spending lavishly,” he challenged the gathering.

The President of the Christian  Association of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, recently acquired a private jet, saying it was donated to him by church members in commemoration of his 4oth year on the pulpit.

It is time Nigerians began to call their religious leaders to account when they see these religious leaders moving in the wrong direction. Many people have misunderstood this Bible quotation that talks about not talking ill of the anointed one of God. For your information that anointed one of God could go to Hell if he/she does not live according to his/her calling and according to the laws of God. God is no respecter of persons for He rewards everyone according to his works. You, the non-anointed or member of the congregation where this anointed one presides owe it a duty to correct your pastor when he/she begin to behave out of turn. If you fail to do that you will be questioned by God. That you correct your falling pastor has nothing to do with speak not evil of the anointed one. This anointed one is battling to save his/her own soul, as everyone else strives to do the same. It is really an act of profligacy for a pastor to engage in senseless squandermania under the guise of preaching the word of God. People have said that ownership of a jet by a pastor will facilitate his quick access to his flock in order to preach to them! When has a pastor become an operator of an air ambulance that must have to reach a dying patient as fast as possible? And mind you, it is not only buying a jet that matters; what about paying for a hangar at an airport or aerodrome? What about fuelling this aircraft? What about the routine maintenance of this aircraft? And where will the money for all these come from? Of course, from the contributions made by the perpetually impoverished members of this church, some of whom cannot afford three square meals a day! Yet the pastor will tell them that God has not blessed them because they have not given much to God, as God expects! What a way to insult God! What a way to commit sacrilege! Whoever told these people that God’s free gift could be bought with money? These pastors MUST have to repent now before it is too late!

  • They encourage the Governors and all those who steal states monies for big donation.

I can bet that over 10% of the Oritsejafors jet monies came from Uduaghan. Same goes for Adeboye, Oyedepo, Adeyemi and Co who would have received part from those thieves they court and preach at their Birthdays and other functions.

If there is any other place apart from hell, that is where they would go.

Any private jet flying GO or church leader in Nigeria today is a devils agent!

    EZEKIEL 34: 1-10 SAYS:

    The Shepherds of Israel

34 Then this message came to me from the Lord: 2 “Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds, the leaders of Israel. Give them this message from the Sovereign Lord: What sorrow awaits you shepherds who feed yourselves instead of your flocks. Shouldn’t shepherds feed their sheep? 3 You drink the milk, wear the wool, and butcher the best animals, but you let your flocks starve. 4 You have not taken care of the weak. You have not tended the sick or bound up the injured. You have not gone looking for those who have wandered away and are lost. Instead, you have ruled them with harshness and cruelty. 5 So my sheep have been scattered without a shepherd, and they are easy prey for any wild animal. 6 They have wandered through all the mountains and all the hills, across the face of the earth, yet no one has gone to search for them.

7 “Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the Lord: 8 As surely as I live, says the Sovereign Lord, you abandoned my flock and left them to be attacked by every wild animal. And though you were my shepherds, you didn’t search for my sheep when they were lost. You took care of yourselves and left the sheep to starve.9 Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the Lord. 10 This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I now consider these shepherds my enemies, and I will hold them responsible for what has happened to my flock. I will take away their right to feed the flock, and I will stop them from feeding themselves. I will rescue my flock from their mouths; the sheep will no longer be their prey.
