A businessman, and owner of the scores of Fatgbems filling stations across the country, Fatai Gbemisola, is dead.
Mr. Gbemisola, 64, died Friday morning at the Lagos University Hospital where he was admitted for an undisclosed illness he has been nursing for over two years.
The deceased, who had travelled abroad for treatment on earlier occasions was rushed to the Lagos hospital on Tuesday, and admitted till he died.
Hundreds of sympathisers were seen at the deceased’s residence at the Housing Estate, Ibara, Abeokuta, on Friday.
As at the time of this report, his corpse was yet to be released from the morgue. He will be buried at 2.00p.m. on Saturday in his house, according to Islamic rites.
The Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, was one of the early callers at the deceased’s residence.
