The victims were buried by their families a day after the crash
The victims of Saturday’s auto crash along Kobape-Abeokuta dual carriage were on Sunday buried by their respective families in various parts of Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The ten victims, all members of the African Church Solution Camp, Ewang Estate, in Abeokuta, were going for a wedding in Lagos before the accident that caused their death occurred.
The driver of an incoming truck lost control of the truck and rammed into a Toyota Hiace bus conveying the over twenty passengers to the wedding ceremony. Ten of them were later confirmed dead.
The collision caused the death, on the spot, of many of the victims; some died at the hospital while the others, who sustained various injuries, are still at the hospital.
