The former Secretary General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs has been buried according to Islamic rites.
Mr. Adegbite was buried in his hometown in Onikolobo area of Abeokuta, Ogun State.
He was buried at 4 p.m beside the grave of his late wife, Modinatu Adegbite.
Thousands of sympathisers thronged the burial of the late Islamic leader. Prominent Nigerians that attended the burial include former President, Olusegun Obasanjo; former Head of State, Ernest Shonekan; Governors Raji Fashola of Lagos and Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun; and former governors of Ogun, Olusegun Osoba and Gbenga Daniel.
