Hotelier kidnapped in Ogun

Two days after throwing a lavish party, a popular hotelier in Ogun State, Segun Oyebolu, was kidnapped by gunmen and taken to an unknown destination.

My. Oyebolu, owner of Citi Hotels, was kidnapped at gun point in his office located at Erinlu in Ijebu-Ode Local Government Area of Ogun, sources say.

An Information Technology expert, the victim had thrown a lavish party, on Saturday, in Lagos, to mark his father’s 70th birthday.

About 48 hours later, on Monday evening, the gunmen stormed his office from where he was taken away.

Sources say Mr. Oyebolu’s family is already working with the police to secure the businessman’s freedom.

Family members say his kidnappers, Tuesday afternoon, contacted his family and demanded a N400 million ransom.
When contacted, The Public Relations Officer of the Ogun State Police Command, Muyiwa Adejobi, said he is still waiting to be briefed on the matter by the Divisional Police Headquarters, Ijebu-Ode, where the incident occurred.
