Nollywood actress, Uduak Akrah, is dead.

The actress died on Saturday as a result of complications she suffered after slipping in the bathroom.

The Nation quotes filmmaker, Charles Novia, as confirming the news.

“I just heard from someone close to her and her family in Abuja. She suffered complications in the past few months from a nasty fall in the bathroom.”

The actress, who was based in Abuja, had fallen ill after the fall, and passed on as arrangements were being made to transfer her to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH).

Uduak was a graduate of Creative Arts from the University of Lagos. She began acting professionally in 1999 and featured in a number of films, stage plays and TV series. She featured in films like Emotional Crack and Bafana Bafana.

In recent times, she dedicated her social media and YouTube pages to sharing motivational messages and skits.
