Veteran comedian, Moses Adejumo (aka Baba Sala), has been discharged from the University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan, after eight days of treatment.
Emmanuel Adejumo, the son of the octogenarian actor, told newsmen that his father was discharged on Monday afternoon.
The comedian, 80, was rushed to the hospital on August 17 after he complained of discomfort which Emmanuel said was confirmed to be old-age related symptom.
Emmanuel said his father was discharged around 3.47 p.m.
“To the glory of God, my daddy has been discharged from the hospital today (Monday).
“I want to use this opportunity to thank all friends and fans of my daddy for the love, care and concerns.
“I actually thank everyone for all their comments and love,” he said.
The Chief Medical Director of the UCH, Prof. Temitope Alonge, said the hospital would be responsible for Baba Sala’s hospital bill.
