Lagos & Calabar: Phyno, Kizz Daniel, Simi for ‘City Of Friends’ funfair
Singers, Kizz Daniel, Phyno and Simi are billed to perform at an event to mark the World Friendship Day this year.
Tagged ‘City of Friends’, the concert is scheduled to hold at the Municipal Gardens in Calabar, this weekend.
The Lagos version of the event, which will hold at the Eagles’ Club in Surulere on August 3 – 4, is also an initiative of “33” Export Lager Beer.
The show will also feature Wasiu Alabi Pasuma and MC Galaxy.
Johnnie, Jazz & Whisky JJW concert
Notable Afrojazz singer, Bisade Ologunde, popularly known as Lagbaja, is set to perform alongside singer, Simi, at the Johnnie, Jazz & Whisky concert on Saturday.
The event which holds at the Central Park Arena in Abuja, the Johnnie, Jazz & Whisky concert will see Lagbaja give his first major performance in years.
The event will feature live performances from the ‘Konko Below’ and ‘Joromi’ singers.
TOOL Music and Art Festival
The Music and Art Festival will take place at Shodex Garden in Lagos this Saturday. The theme is ‘Embrace the African Culture, Celebrate the Youths and Creatives’
This year, TOOL Fest introduces the Music and Art Festival with a theme surrounding the African culture and youths.
The festival represents the new African generation that refuses to be defeated or defined by their circumstances. It is set to build a community of young, determined individuals coming together.
