Nigerians on Sunday join the rest of the world today to celebrate the 2016 Father’s day.
The Father’s day, observed in the third Sunday of every June, is celebrated to salute and honour fathers and father figures who have influenced a person’s life.
It was created to complement Mother’s Day.
Father’s Day started in the early 20th century in the United States and was first celebrated on June 19, 1910 in Spokane, Washington.
PREMIUM TIMES in its way to appreciate and celebrate the day with fathers spoke to some of them and asked who their next of kin was.
The responses differed in an interesting manner.
Tell us who your next of kin is.
