Popular singer, Davido, and his girlfriend, Chioma Rowland, on Saturday met with the People’s Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
The singer disclosed this on Instagram when he shared a photo of himself alongside Mr Atiku.
He wrote; “Thank you for having us Sir. You all should be afraid of what I’m gonna do next.”
Although the singer did not disclose details of the meeting, many say it has everything to do with to the 2019 presidential elections.
Davido, who is fast becoming the toast of Nigerian politicians, performed at the PDP National Convention in Port Harcourt on Sunday. The former vice president emerged the presidential candidate of PDP, Nigeria’s main opposition at the convention.
The 22-year-old singer was also the star attraction on his uncle, Ademola Adeleke’s campaign trail.
Mr Adeleke vied to be governor of Osun State under the People’s Democratic Party but lost out in the elections.
Earlier in the week, social media was agog with rumours that the lovebirds had called it quits.
This is the couple’s second public appearance since the news broke online.
