2Baba teams up with Peruzzi to share new single “Amaka”

Veteran Nigerian singer, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has teamed up with budding DMW act, Peruzzi, to share a new single titled “Amaka.”

The song which narrates a story of disappointment by a love interest (Amaka) was produced by fast rising record producer, SperoachBeatz, who became popular for his work on Davido’s raving single “Assurance.”

The track is accompanied by befitting visuals directed by Unlimited LA.

This comes after 2baba shared “In Love and Ashes” soundtrack for a new television series “In Love and Ashes” which premiered in March.

“In Love and Ashes” is a compelling 8-part drama series about loss, regret, forgiveness, hope and the human spirit’s incredible capacity for healing.

Written by 2baba, Kelechi Orji and Efe Omorogbe and produced by Kelly Hansome, the song promotes the message of tolerance, unity and peace among Nigerians in particular and all of humanity in general.

In 2017, 2baba also unlocked one of last year’s biggest hits, “Gaaga Shuffle” which instantly became a fans favourite.
