Wizkid’s runway photos sell for N179,889 online

Wizkid's Dolce & Gabbana's runway outfit

Nigerian pop singer, Wizkid, walked alongside Naomi Campbell on the Dolce & Gabbana runway this past weekend at the Milan Men’s Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2019.

The singer made history as the first African artist to walk at one of the famed house’s shows.

Wizkid (real name Ayo Balogun) dazzled in a stylish black and gold outfit, complete with studded mask and luxury jewelry.

Each image of Wizkid walking the runway for Dolce & Gabbana on Saturday has been put up online for sale by Getty Images for $499 (N179,889).

On the American stock photo agency website, photos of the singer included a long shot, his back view, as well as a close shot.

Getty Images is selling the editorial rights to publish the picture of Wizkid for $499 and as low as $50 depending on the buyers preferred size.

The photos were taken by Victor Virgile, a contributor for the stock photo agency.

Photos and videos of the Starboy at the fashion show have generated numerous positive reactions from the online community.

Since the photographs popped up online, Nigerians have expressed views about the price tags, especially since Wizkid had already shared them on his social media pages on Monday.
