PT MUSIC CHART: Top 20 Naija songs released in November

November has been a pretty exciting month for Nigerian music lovers as it saw some of our favourite artistes churn out chart-topping singles. PREMIUM TIMES has compiled a list of the top 20 Naija songs released in November. The songs are not arranged in any particular order and the list is based on the amount of online streams and airplay each track received in the month of November.

harrysong1. Harrysong – Bacana

Prior to the controversy surrounding his exit from 5 Star Music, Harrysong had released a Del’B produced song titled “Bacana” on November 4. The song is heavy on percussions, which is typical of the Reggae Blues crooner’s songs.

2. Lola Rae-Biko FT. Davido

DMW’s latest signee, Rachel Akosua Funmilola, better known by her stage name, Lola Rae, teamed up with label boss, Davido on the track, Biko. It is the second single she released in 2016 single. The song was released on the November 2. Lola Rae also made history as the first female artiste to be signed by Davido.

3. Yung L-Pass The Aux (Remix) FT. Timaya

Grip Muzik dancehall artiste, Yung L, enlisted the vocal prowess of the Eberi Papa One of Bayelsa, Timaya, on the remix of his hit track, titled “Pass The Aux”. It was produced by Chopstix and released on November 9.

4.Lil Kesh-Shele Gan Gan

YAGI boss, Lil Kesh, thrilled his teeming fans with the release of this KrisBeat produced song titled “Shele Gan Gan”. It was released on November 1.

5.Dremo-12 Bang FT. Davido

DMW rapper, Dremo, teamed up with his label boss on the track titled “12 Bang”. It was produced by Fresh and was mixed and mastered by Suka Sounds. The song was released on November 18.

6. DJ Shabsy X Koker- Gan Gan

G-Worldwide meets Chocolate City Music as DJ Shabsy teamed up with Koker to share this track titled “Gan Gan” which was released on November 4.

7.ClassiQ-Can’t Touch This


Coming on the heels of the controversy that surrounded the release of his music video titled “I Love You” which starred embattled Kannywood actress, Rahama Sadau, pop star, ClassiQ, takes us back to the 90’s with the release of the track, “Can’t Touch This”. The song was released on November 9.

8. Magnito – As I get Money Ehn FT. Patoranking

Comic rapper, Maginto, linked up with award-winning reggae/dancehall act on the remix of his previously released track titled “If I Get Money Ehn”.

 9. Yung6ix- Let Me Know FT. Davido

KKTBM rapper, Yung6ix, enlisted DMW head honcho, Davido, on this sensational mid-tempo tune titled “Let Me Know”.

10.Solidstar- Emergency

Off his successfully released album, W.E.E.D, Solidstar dropped “Emergency” for the listening pleasure of music lovers and fans. The highlife infused Skonto song is almost irresistible.

11.Aramide- Why So Serious

Afro-soul songstress, Aramide, released her highly anticipated album “Suitcase” this month and “Why So Serious” has found a worthy spot on our list.

12.Ric Hassani – Police

Fast rising alternative afro-soul act, Ric Hassani, thrilled his fans with a stellar love single titled “Police”. Doron Clinton produced the track.

 13.Zoro –Mabuza Mabuza ( Street Thanksgiving)

Fast rising artiste, Zoro, who has released very impressive singles returned in November with another track titled “Mabuza Mabuza”.

DBanj14.D’banj- Focus

Award-winning Nigerian artiste, D’banj, returned with an unexpected single titled “Focus”. Killertunez produced it. The song was a response to his alleged 100 million indebtedness, which went viral on social media. The new sound follows the precedence of his previously released song, “Emergency”.

15.Reminisce- Konsignment

Talented rapper, Reminisce, teamed up with producer, Jomane on this chart-topping single titled “Konsignment”.

16. Adekunle Gold- My Life

YBNL artiste, Adekunle Gold, returned with a powerful single entitled “My Life”. On the traditional Yoruba embellished beat, the talented artiste talks about his life, music, blessings and people who won’t just let him be.

 17.Phyno- Financial Woman FT. PSquare

Prolific rapper, Phyno, teams up with Nigerian music power duo, Psquare, to unlock a very impressive single titled “Financial Woman” off his “Playmaker” album.

18.Skales- Temper

Baseline lead act, Skales, thrilled with the release of this mid-tempo track titled “Temper” produced by budding producer, KrisBeatz.

19.Sarz X DJ Tunez- Get Up FT. Flash

Revered producer, Sarz engages DJ Tunez and Flash on this track titled “Get Up”. The beat has Sarz displaying his usual signature sounds, something that sets him apart from a lot of other producers.

20.Wande Coal – Ballerz + Iskabba Ft. DJ TunezWande Coal

Black Diamond boss and former Mo’Hits artiste, Wande Coal, gave fans a pleasant surprise when he delivered two fresh singles titled “Ballerz”. Produced by Maleek Berry and “Iskabba”. It featured DJ Tunez and Spellz produced it.
