Kannywood: My leg was not amputated – Zainab Indomie

Zainab Indomie

Popular Kannywood actress, Zainab Indomie, has denied rumours that she had an accident and got her right leg amputated.

She made the clarification on her Instagram page @Zainab_Indomie on Sunday.

Zainab said she is fit and healthy and was not involved in any accident.

“I am appealing to people to always say good of me instead of making false rumours about my status and personality”.

Zainab said the picture that was circulated was of one of her in a movie, Dinyar Makaho, where she acted as a cripple.

The actress is not new to controversies.

In 2015, she was said to be under rehabilitation for drug abuse after being absent from movies for about two years.

That claim could not be confirmed by this paper.

However, Hassana Dalhat, a Kannywood film promoter, told PREMIUM TIMES that Zainab had issues with her lifestyle at some point in her career.

“A video footage that went viral of the actress in 2014 caught Zainab at a swimming pool smoking while hanging out with friends. That could be the beginning of the said rumour at that time,” she said.
