The movie parades news artiste such as Tinsel’s Linda Ejiofor.

Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic, says all is set for the premiere of her new romantic movie – The Meeting – on October 19, 2012.

The actress, who is starring/ co-producing alongside Mildred Okwo, who also doubles as the director, revealed that the film is a breath of fresh air, as it features Tinsel star, Linda Ejiofor; recording artiste, Femi Jacobs; and experienced thespian, Jide Kosoko.

The movie also has special appearances by Kate Henshaw, Basorge Tariah, Nse Ikpe Etim, and Chinedu Ikedieze.

Shedding light on the project, Ms. Okwo, a seasoned lawyer and director said, “we are excited about this film because it is a truly Nigerian story that cuts across borders. Anybody anywhere in the world will find something about this film to like. We are not only introducing upcoming stars in Femi Jacobs and Linda Ejiofor but we are also showcasing a different and dynamic Rita Dominic.”

Set in Abuja, the story is about the trials of a Lagos-based corporate executive Makinde Esho (Femi Jacobs) who finds himself at the mercy of political and bureaucratic red tape. He’s struck by Cupid’s arrow while in hot pursuit of a ‘meeting’ to secure a government contract.

The Meeting addresses an array of contemporary issues audiences are sure to identify with; from love, to African time, to the trials of tackling officials, and maneuvering red tape.

According to the producers, the script written by Tunde Babablola promises to be all that and more.
