Popular comedian and TV host, Teju Babyface, is now a married man.
He tied the knots, Saturday, in Lagos to his fiancée, Tobi Banjoko, a model, at the Chapel of Christ the Light Church, Alausa, Ikeja.
The bride was clad in a fish tail wedding gown designed by MAI Atafo while Teju opted for bespoke suit by Taryor Gabriels.
Shortly before the commencement of the marriage rites, the Reverend Father played a fast one on the couple when he said the bride’s gown was unaccepted and she may have to change.
The clergy quickly calmed frayed nerves and tension by revealing minutes later that it was all a joke.
The groom’s men comprised of actors and comedians like Tee A, Kayode Peters, Owen Gee and Koffi.
The reception followed immediately at the Muson Centre, Onikan.
The traditional engagement ceremony took place earlier on Thursday, August 30, 2012, at the 10 Degrees Event Centre, Oregun, Lagos amidst funfair and merriment.
The engagement, which began at 2pm, with an elaborate engagement ceremony, was followed by a grand reception hosted by comedian, Tee A.
As expected, a handful of celebrities like Ali Baba, Gbenga Adeyinka, Holy Mallam, rapper B.O.U.Q.U.I., Tade Ogidan, and Richard Mofe Damijo were in attendance.
