Josephine Okoye, P-Square's mum, dies in India hospital

Josephine Okoye, the mother of Nigerian superstar twins, Paul and Peter Okoye (popularly known as P-Square), has died in an Indian hospital where she had been receiving treatment.

Mrs. Okoye died last night after a protracted illness.

She had been hospitalized at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos Island before she was flown abroad for further treatment.

The cause of death is yet to be ascertained and the family are yet to issue a statement.

Hours after the news broke, hundreds of fans of the multiple award winning duo took to the social media to express their condolences.

“R.I.P Mrs. Josephine Okoye…..mother of P squared….May God give the family the strength to bear the loss at this sad time,” a fan said in a tweet.
