Popular comedian, Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth, and his family were robbed by armed men in their home on Wednesday.
Basketmouth’s friend and fellow comedian, Bovi, narrated on Instagram how the robbery occurred between 2 a.m. and 4.a.m. at the family’s home in Lekki.
Nobody was harmed as the gun wielding robbers only took away some of Basketmouth’s property.
“@Basketmouth was robbed this morning in his home in Lekki Phase 1 between the hours of 2am and 4am, 7th of September 2016. He and his family were held at gun point while the sad episode lasted. Nobody was hurt. Valuables were taken including the CCTV device. A report has been made at the police station. He can’t be reached at the moment but will be back on as soon as possible,” Bovi wrote.
Bovi later posted pictures he took with Basketmouth and his friends after the robbery incident. They celebrated the fact that no one was hurt in the attack.
