The Nigerian Police Force on Saturday said it had concluded plans to introduce a television series on its activities, which will feature prominent actors, Desmond Eliot and Segun Arinze, among prominent Nigerian actors.
Addressing journalist in Abuja, the spokesperson of the Force, Olabisi Kolawole, said the television series, with the title: “Beyond your sight”, will further inform members of the public about the new police force and strengthen the bond between the masses and the Police.
“Consequently, ‘Beyond your sight’ documents, serialises and disseminates landmark operational intelligence, investigative exploits and processes of prosecution by the Force.
“In so doing, the police TV series aims at bringing to the fore the concrete efforts of the Nigeria Police at preventing and unraveling crime; while educating and enlightening people,” Mrs. Kolawole said.
She added that the programme was aimed at informing citizens about their personal security and the collective responsibility of the masses towards national security.
‘Beyond your sight’ is a 13-episode programme produced by renowned Nollywood producer, Lancelot Imasuen, whose premier is scheduled to take place on June 7.
