Radio presenter cum comedian, Yaw, teamed up with ace comedian Okey Bakassi on a satirical stage play titled ‘YOU’ which was shown on Sunday at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island.
The play was preluded by musical performances by upcoming acts, Ben7 and Ransome, and comedy by Kenny Black and Bow Leg.
Starting exactly at 8:42p.m., the first scene saw Yaw and Okey Bakassi re-enacting scenes of a typical Lagos road, portraying clueless drivers who fail to abide by traffic regulations.
In the second scene the duo re-enacted the infamous tearing of former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s Peoples Democratic Party membership card by his ward chairman.
The duo also recreated the “jumping the fence” by the National Assembly members, the President Muhammadu Buhari certificate saga, the Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao bout, the missing Chibok girls, missing ‘$20 billion’ and the Oba of Lagos ‘Lagoon saga’.
The play closed with a ‘Change’ appeal to the audience.
