Rapper, Panshak Zamaani, popularly known as Ice Prince, has asked fans and bloggers, not to compare his music with that of rapper and label mate, M.I.
The Oleku crooner stated this while reacting to a blog post on www.360nobs.com. He specifically directed the tweets at the owner of entertainment website, Noble Igwe.
“My old G Noble Igwe! You and your blog shld (should) stop comparing my music to my brother and teacher MI. I’m not tryn (trying) to be greater than M. Stop! If You get to see this Tweet! Take note for the last time my old G! Me and MI and everybody around that is deeper than Music. That’s blood!” he warned.
Ice added: “And to everyone that cares to know! I can never ever ever ever compete with MI. It’s deeper than music. Same parents or not! M is blood!” he wrote.
Mr Zamani noted that MI remains the greatest rap act in Nigeria nothing that he ( Iceprince) is who he is today because of MI
“And for the record, MI is the greatest Rap Musician 2 come outta this side! I’m who I am because I was taught and brought up by the greatest”.
Responding to Ice Prince, Mr. Igwe said bloggers get no tweets or Retweets when a good review is done but get bashed when an artiste is criticised for not doing to well.
”When they post an artist song, you get no tweets, when they do a good review of an artist song, you get no tweets but say” You no try” And you become the enemy. You get tweets, subs and what not . How are we ever going to move forward like this ?” he wrote on his twitter page.
The blogger added that it’s becoming difficult for people to differentiate between himself and his business.
“Sometimes, I guess Its difficult for people to different between Noble Igwe & his businesses”.
Noble doesn’t write all news items on his blog as he has bloggers working for him.
This would not be the first time musicians will have to warn blogger, Noble Igwe. Made men music group’s Emma Nyra cautioned the blogger over a post last month.
She accused Noble Igwe and his blog of always criticising and never supporting her music. Noble has denied this.
