2014 Hennessy artistry pick​s​ Wizkid, Tuface‎ as headliners

Music stars, Tuface and Wizkid​,​ have been announced as ‎headliners for​ ‎Hennessy Artistry 2014 which kicks off this year’s Artistry campaign.

According to the organisers, this year’s Artistry represents a blend​ of the matured, premium lifestyle and the young, vibrant lifestyle, classified as “new school”.‎

Four supporting acts, Patoranking, Oritsefemi, Reminisce and Shaydee will join the headliners to tour different cities in Nigeria to party with fans. ‎

This year’s edition will see the Hennessy Artistry train move to Ghana and South Africa for the first time ever. The Hennessy Artistry team will have its first concert in Ghana next month, October, while this year’s headliners will give South Africans the ultimate clubbing experience later in the year.

Tuface and Wizkid will also release a theme song for the annual music club tour. The song will also be Tuface and Wizkid’s first ever collabo track. ‎

Brand manager for Hennessy Nigeria, Lere Awokoya said ‎”Selecting these internationally recognized superstars for Hennessy Artistry 2014 was definitely a great choice. They both appeal to different kinds of fans and having 2Face and Wizkid release their first-ever collabo will definitely shake the African music scene.

“Our headliners for 2014, 2Face and Wizkid greatly represent what Hennessy Cognac symbolizes which is the premium luxury lifestyle, fun and success”, he stated. ‎

The club tour will kick off this Friday, September 19‎ at Ibiza, Festac with Patoranking and Oritsefemi, and Saturday, September 20 ‎at D’ Place, Lekki with Reminisce, Patoranking and Shaydee as performers of the night.‎

Hennessy Artistry was first unveiled in Nigeria in 2007 as a cocktail-mixing contest between renowned bartenders, Hennessy Artistry has since evolved into Nigeria’s biggest music platform for experimental collaborations between multi-talented artistes.

Past Hennessy Artistry headliners include Dbanj, MI, Naeto C, Banky W, Eldee, Tiwa Savage, Jesse Jagz, Ice Prince, Nneka, Sir Shina Peters, Bez, among many others.
