Nigerian film maker, Tunde Kelani, might be getting prepared to shoot a short film to sensitize the public on the deadly Ebola Virus Disease.
Entertainment newspaper, NET, reported that Mr. Kelani was contacted by a U.K. based health organization to shoot the campaign.
When PREMIUM TIMES contacted Mr. Kelani, he neither denied nor confirmed the report, saying he is not authorised to speak on issue.
“I cannot say yes or no because I am not authorized to speak on that.
I can only confirm this by Monday (next week)”, Mr. Kelani said.
In Nigeria, three persons, including Patrick Sawyer, the Liberian who brought the disease to Nigeria, have died of Ebola. About 10 others have been confirmed to have contacted the virus while 177 others, are being screened.
The possible casts for the short film as reported by NET include Halima Abubakar, Yomi Fash Lanso, Kunle Afolayan, Toyin Aimakhu Johnson and Funky Mallam.
