Organisers of the All Africa Music Awards, AFRIMA, have extended the call for entries for the Pan-African music awards till July 21.
Entry initially closed on July 5 after it was opened on May 15.
AFRIMA Director of Sponsorship and Brand Communications, Matlou Tsotetsi, confirmed the extension in a press release.
“We hope this 14 days will give everyone a chance to get involved in AFRIMA,” he said.
AFRIMA is a platform for music industry members to engage and deliberate on how the industry can be nurtured and packaged in a way that contributes to the GDP of the continent. This year’s theme is ‘Reviving the Business of Music in Africa’.
AFRIMA, a continental award event done in partnership with African Union Commission, is aimed at showcasing African culture and rewarding musical talent.
