Unknown rapper, Vemor, emerged winner at the live rap battle radio competition, VS Class, held last Thursday, July 3, on Beat 99.9 fm Lagos.
The late night show which has the backing of Hennessy had Nigerians on social media, particularly Twitter, deciding the winner was hosted by OAPs, Olisa and Jimmie.
With the theme centred around indigenous rap, rounds of intense rap sessions between Vemor and Kiiwii who were selected by the judges – Indigenous rappers, IllBliss, Reminisce, Falz, Young6ix and listeners went head-to-head in the final round.
Vemor’s witty bars and seamless flow, saw him emerged winner by a unanimous decision after impressing the Judges and fans on social media.
Vemor joins episode one winner, Eclipse as the VS Class Emcees who will release a collaboration sponsored by premium cognac brand, Hennessy and will receive massive airplay on The Beat 99.9FM.
Other guests present at the show include Beat FM OAP, Douglas, DJ Spinall, Loose Kaynon, MTV Base VJ, Ehiz, among others.
The VS Class show continues with one more episode this year with some of the past judges and DJs coming back for the final showdown for 2014.
